CROSSING (A COLLABORATION WITH M. AMDUR),1995
IN 1995 Margery Amdur and I were invited to create a collaborative installation at the Sarratt Gallery at Vanderbilt University. I visited Margery at her studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she was working with window screen. We poured water over a small piece of screen and the idea for this project came about. It was a room with a water floor and walls made of screen with water flowing over it. Inside was furniture and suitcases made of window screen.
